New projects

Just because there hasn't been anything new posted lately doesn't mean I haven't been doing anything. It's more like procrastination because uploading takes time that I'd rather spend creating things. :)
Here's my felted bowl after adding some bead embellishments.
I learned how to hook a rug yesterday and here's my rug so far, more like a placemat.

I've also been doing some art journaling and here's the latest spread.

    Hello, Vickie sweets, I was beyond thrilled to hear that my calendar pages inspired you. Now, stay tuned, because tonight I will be uploading to my blog and to my flickr pages that you have a mat on them in the middle that you can just save and print out and glue a calendar on, or digitally layer one on, whichever. So, if you want to avoid all that painting mess, these will of course be free and my gift to my readers and friends, and there will be twelve of them, all different, I think.

    As to your lovely goodies you've been working on, I am always in awe of beaders...the felting is just something I'm not really interested in but your bowl does look lovely...it's the beading that attracts me, lol. And the latch hooking is amazing. And your journal spread, as always, is so so so appropro, for me, anyway. We're in our mid-50's and not really sure that all we've done (YEARS OF SACRIFICE) to that end is gonna work now. Yuckers!
