Mountains Galore

Living in the midst of the Colorado high country, this beadwork was inspired by the vistas from my window. I love living in the mountains and they are a constant source of inspiration. The beading was done on white fabric with a sandwich of felt batting. it is approximately 6 inches square. This is my first attempt at completely covering the space in beads.

It calls to me... Like a siren sweetly singing... "Come to me, to my verdant valleys and lofty peaks!" Awesome place and awesome piece!!!! Robin A.

  11. I think you've been holding out on us - the BJP can't have been your first venture into bead embroidery - this is too good! The colors are lovely and the execution looks exquisite. You make me want to put down my needle and find something else to do!
