Mountains Galore

Living in the midst of the Colorado high country, this beadwork was inspired by the vistas from my window. I love living in the mountains and they are a constant source of inspiration. The beading was done on white fabric with a sandwich of felt batting. it is approximately 6 inches square. This is my first attempt at completely covering the space in beads.

  8. Your FIRST piece where you covered the surface entirely??? Yikes! You are GOOD!!! This piece makes me want to move to the high mountain country of Colorado imediately. It really does... It calls to me... Like a siren sweetly singing... "Come to me, to my verdant valleys and lofty peaks!" Awesome place and awesome piece!!!! Robin A.

  12. I think you've been holding out on us - the BJP can't have been your first venture into bead embroidery - this is too good! The colors are lovely and the execution looks exquisite. You make me want to put down my needle and find something else to do!
